Just a week after the SEAA Road Relays, Impact AC athletes were back in action at the Surrey County Cross Country Relays, demonstrating great performances across all age groups against some of the county’s strongest clubs.

The Under 13 boys set the tone with two strong teams, the A team finishing an excellent 8th overall thanks to consistent running across all three legs, while the B team battled hard for 12th, gaining valuable experience on a tough course. Well done to Jacob and Noah for their first runs of the season. The Under 13 girls impressed once again, with the A team securing a superb 5th place finish to establish themselves among the leading clubs, and the B team performing with determination to claim 15th. Well done to Nicole for her first run of the season.

In the Under 15 boys’ race, the A team was unfortunately incomplete but still produced encouraging individual runs with Freddie running for the first time this year, while the B team stepped up superbly to finish just outside the top ten in 11th. The Under 15 girls continued the trend of competitive team efforts, with the A team placing 10th and the B team also finishing strongly in 16th, both teams demonstrating the strength in this age group. Well done to Daniella for her first run of the season.

Across the day, Impact AC came away with three top-10 team finishes and plenty of encouraging runs from both new and experienced athletes. Once again, our younger runners showed great maturity in stepping up to what were very strong and competitive fields.
