Impact athletes enjoyed another fantastic day of competition at the Kingston AC & Poly Harriers Quad Kids & Open Meeting on Sunday. With several first-time competitors and personal bests, the day was very successful for all our athletes

Under 11 Boys

Our U11 boys impressed in both speed and endurance events, holding their own against a large and talented field:

  • Jacob Chalker – 3rd place, 175 pts (first competition for Impact)

    • Fastest 75m sprint of the day in 11.89s, showing explosive pace.

    • Solid 600m in 2:12.54, one of the quickest times overall.

  • George Davey – 5th place, 161 pts

    • Strong throw of 28.26m, one of the top three vortex results.

    • Great effort across all events showing consistency and strength.

  • Mithran Prasanna – 10th place, 130 pts

    • Good sprinting form and determination throughout.

It was especially impressive to see Jacob claim a podium finish on his club debut — a superb all-round start to his Impact AC competitive journey.

Under 11 Girls

Our U11 girls were among the most consistent and exciting athletes on the day:

  • Chloe Graves – 1st place, 178 pts

    • Dominant sprint in 12.76s and a quick 2:11.36 over 600m placed her among the very best in both speed and endurance.

    • A huge improvement in her throwing and her excellent long jump of 3.22m helped seal a well-deserved overall win.

  • Ruby Doyle – 5th place, 157 pts (PB)

    • Superb 600m in 2:05.85 — one of the fastest runs of the entire age group.

    • Consistent across all four events.

Chloe’s all-round excellence earned her a brilliant first place overall, while Ruby’s fantastic PB reflected her ongoing improvement and competitive drive.

Under 13 Girls – 800m

  • Mya Keelaghan Clow-Wilson – 1st place, 2:34.05 (PB)

  • Georgia Hudson – 4th place, 2:51.54 (first-ever 800m)

Mya delivered a strong, confident run to take the win in a new PB, while Georgia showed real composure and promise in her debut at the distance — a great sign for the season ahead.

Under 17 Women – 800m

  • Lucy Richards – 1st place, 2:22.91 (PB)

Lucy’s powerful pacing and sprint finish earned her a commanding win and a new personal best, continuing her excellent form.

It was a day packed with success for Impact Athletic Club — from Chloe’s all-round Quad Kids victory to Jacob’s outstanding debut, Ruby’s strong PB, and Mya and Lucy’s superb 800m wins. Across all events, our athletes demonstrated excellent competitiveness, and sportsmanship.

A huge well done to everyone who competed!
