Surrey Senior Sportshall Competition - 26th October
Posted on
Impact AC made an excellent return to indoor action in the first Surrey Sportshall League Fixture of the season.
Across all age groups, our athletes performed brilliantly showing that we have some of the best athletes across the county.
With several first-time competitors and some incomplete teams, every single performance counted — and the results were exceptional.
Under 13 Boys
Impact AC fielded two teams in the U13 Boys competition, though neither had a full complement of six athletes — a challenge that made every point even more valuable.
Despite that, the boys rose to the occasion brilliantly.
A particular highlight came from Year 6 athletes Edward and Oliver, who both stepped up an age group and competed fearlessly against older opposition. Their composure and competitiveness stood out, and they scored strongly across their events.
The squad covered the programme well, with strong marks in Speed Bounce and Standing Long Jump, helping to keep Impact competitive against the other competing full teams. They finished in a fine 5th and 8th place.
Under 13 Girls
The U13 Girls also produced an team performance. Four members of the A team — Maddie, Erin, Georgie and Elowen — are all still in Year 6, yet they competed superbly against older girls, showing great skill and confidence.
It was also a debut appearance for Barakah and Aairah, who tackled multiple events enthusiastically and settled into the team straight away. The B team, competing with only five athletes, showed excellent teamwork and commitment throughout.
A brilliant collective effort from a young and developing squad who finished 4th and 6th overall.
Under 15 Boys
The U15 Boys may have been short on numbers, but they produced some of the club’s standout performances of the day.
Logan Richards was a class act, delivering one of the best all-round scores across the entire competition — hitting maximum points (100) in Speed Bounce, alongside 97 in Triple Jump and a strong four-lap run.
It was also a first-ever competition for Harrison, who embraced the challenge brilliantly, showing great potential across multiple events and adding important points to the team’s total.
Under 15 Girls
The headline result of the day came from the U15 Girls, who were crowned overall top-scoring team — a fantastic achievement and testament to the squad’s talent and teamwork.
The A team delivered a display of consistency and excellence, with Florence, Zoe, Daniella, Lucy, Tabitha and Katerina finishing among the top individual scorers of the entire competition. Their combination of speed, strength and technical skill across multiple events was superb. Well done also to Julie who made an excellent debut for the team and competed strongly.
It was a near-perfect performance from the team — technically excellent, full of confidence, and supported by outstanding squad depth
Across all age groups, Impact AC athletes showcased everything that makes the club special — enthusiasm, courage, and commitment.
From Year 6 athletes stepping up to older age groups, to first-time competitors making an impact, and the dominant U15 Girls taking top honours, it was a day full of pride and progress.
Every athlete gave their all, cheered their teammates, and represented Impact AC brilliantly.
A huge thank-you to all athletes, parents, coaches, and officials who made the day such a success.
This was a fantastic start to the indoor season. Well done everyone!
